Colliding Landscapes
These photographs explore the collision between undeveloped landscapes and human-made landscapes. The growing population of our planet has created a booming demand for the evolution of natural regions. As an increasing number of developments take over the natural terrain, strong dividing lines appear to signify the battle between competing habitats. Exploring the robust contrast between natural landscapes and developments has allowed me to realize that human expansions are very geometric by default but have been intentionally and unintentionally effected by nature’s characteristics. Those influences seem to be the backbone of what is seen as beautiful on the earth. I hope to show the beauty of both natural and developed landscapes and the interrelationships between the two with these photographs.
